Chevrolet NASCAR Legacy Honored with New GM Ad Campaign

Chevrolet is known for being a top brand in NASCAR racing and now, the American carmaker is looking to highlight its racing prowess with a brand-new television spot. The commercial, which debuted last month during the Daytona 500, highlights recent and history Chevrolet racing footage, showing off the brand’s winning legacy.

“Chevrolet was the most awarded brand in the past year and it’s the most successful brand in the history of NASCAR,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet. “This new spot shines a light on the heritage and reinforces our commitment to building great vehicles and our continued support for a truly American sport.”

The 60-second spot highlights Chevy’s NASCAR winning legacy, which includes 738 NASCAR wins, 38 NASCAR manufacturer titles, 30 driver championships, and 23 Daytona 500 wins. The new GM ad campaign also has another NASCAR-themed TV spot that features Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his relationship with the Chevy Silverado.
