Get ready to meet the new and improved Chevrolet Cruze compact—it’s lighter, longer, and more fuel-efficient.
“The new Cruze is truly one of Chevrolet’s most global vehicles,” explains Alan Batey, president of General Motors North America.
The new Chevrolet Cruze is 250 pounds lighter than its previous model, thanks to an aluminum engine block and the implementation of a new steelmaking process. The sedan is also 2.7 inches longer, providing more legroom for rear passengers.
Under the hood is a 1.4-liter, four-cylinder Ecotec turbo engine that yields an impressive 40 miles per gallon.
The Chevrolet Cruze will also come equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for smartphone integration to its available 7- or 8-inch touchscreen. It will also feature new and improved safety features that includes lane departure alert and forward collision alert.
Recently revealed at the Detroit Fillmore Theater, the Chevrolet Cruze is scheduled to hit the market at the beginning of 2016. Be sure to come visit us at Reichard Chevrolet for more information on how to make this versatile car yours and to also check out our array of impressive Chevy vehicles!
