GM is not shy when it comes to feature films. In fact, GM vehicles were recently spotted in the new Entourage trailer, and who could forget the beloved Bumblebee Camaro in the Transformers series? Now, it’s time for the 2016 Chevrolet Volt to shine. Chevy’s EV, along with the futuristic GM EN-V concept have found their way into Disney’s upcoming film, ‘Tomorrowland.’
‘Tomorrowland’ stars George Clooney and Britt Robertson, and is a mystery adventure that follows “a jaded scientist and an optimistic teen as they embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space.”
We’re willing to bet that the Chevy Volt’s role takes place in present-day, while the EN-V is a vehicle found in the future.
“Tomorrowland is a place where nothing is impossible, which is something that Chevrolet believes can exist in the here and now,” said Tim Mahoney, vice president, Global Chevrolet, in a statement. “The Chevrolet spirit reflects the hopes and possibilities of tomorrow in real instruments of change for today like the next-generation Chevrolet Volt.”
Look for Disney’s ‘Tomorrowland’ to land in theaters May 22nd.
